Undecided Voters: How persuasive are political questions and comments posted on the web?
Q. I'm directing this question to those still undecided. I've been reading political questions, articles, and comments on various news websites as well as wiki/answer sites such as this one. The questions posed and articles written are highly partisan. Even when the Q&A are unbiased, the comments are often from highly partisan voters whose agenda is only to announce their allegience to a certain candidate, sometimes not by the proper means (character attacks against the other candidate). My question is: how effective are these questions, articles, and comments in affecting the undecided voters?

What questions should I ask my real estate company in my interveiw?
Q. My interviewer told me to make a list of question to ask him. I don't know alot about real estate but I have to ask him some questions can you think of any? I already have these questions. 1. How do Agents get homes to list? 2. How many listing can one have at one time?
Asked by GO BROWNS! - Fri Nov 12 19:44:45 2010 - Renting & Real Estate - 1 Answers - Comments

A. Those are pretty rookie questions, how you get listings is by making contacts, and I have never heard of an office limiting your listings. Things you should ask: Ask about their mentoring/train ing program Desk fees, transaction fees, administrative fees, franchise fees - (i.e. what costs you $) Who pays E&O? What is the commission split, and is there a point where your commission schedule improves? What is their market share? Are there any niche markets they specialize in? What is their average sale price compared to the local market average? One thing you want to be sure of is a good fit. If you are an intense, competitive person and this office is staffed with laid back people, kids toddle through and someone always has… [cont.]

A. I'm sure that the attorney you will be hiring will prepare you adequately for the USCIS interview. The only way that I see your daughter being questioned is if there is some suspected fraud. Fraud means that your marriage isn't a real one but only for the purpose to secure a green card. If that is not you then you will have little reason to worry. If you have some specific reason why you think an interview might go badly, then by all means tell them to your lawyer. Don't forget that under the Child Citizenship Act that your child becomes a citizen when you do. However once your child turns 18, then it's too late for that possibility. I'm not sure why you waited 4 years after marrying a US citizen to finally apply for adjustment. You may… [cont.]

How many questions is too little or too much to ask during a job interview?
Q. During a job interview, when you ask questions or when the interviewer asks if you have any questions, how many questions should you ask to show interest in the job. How many questions is too little or too much to ask? I would love to have answers from anybody who has been an interviewer or who has worked in human resources or as a recruiter. Please only serious answers.

A. It has been my experience from being on both sides of the interviewing desk that there is no magic number on how many questions to ask. You should go into the interview with a prepared set of questions. The questions should not be asking for information that you can find off of the internet. This shows a lack of proper preparation. It is also my opinion to defer questions regarding your salary history or compensation expectations until late in the process. Recruiters and hiring managers will often use this information to screen you out. You should be watchful of the interviewers body language in deciding how many questions to ask. If they appear hurried then only ask a few of the really important questions you want answered. If they appear… [cont.]

How will questions be picked in the next presidential debate?
Q. I read that the next presidential debate will be a town hall style debate and that the moderator will call on members of the audience and read questions from the internet. How will those people and questions be picked? I mean, are they just going to walk up to anyone who raises their hand like on the Jerry Springer show? Or will the questions be pre-screened before hand?

What questions should you ask at an interview that requires you to relocate?
Q. I have a interview coming up that if I get the job I will be required to relocate out of state. I'm drawing a mental blank, I don't know what questions I should ask as it relates to my having to move. What questions are appropriate? What questions should I be asking?
Asked by strawberriesilove - Sat Sep 2 17:29:22 2006 - Financial Services - 3 Answers - Comments

A. You could ask if they have any other out of state employees. I don't really think you need to focus your questions on the move, but you could ask them if they have a relocation package. You could also ask if they would be willing to give you 2 weeks or so to get there, but mostly, just focus on questions about the job unless you are really concerned with the move. Keep those questions to a minimum, you don't want to alarm them or get them thinking about having to pay for you to move too much lol.

Questions?
Q. Why is it that everyone says they answer more than they ask but we never run out of questions to answer?
Asked by Bobby bobbob - Fri Sep 8 11:08:14 2006 - Other - Science - 12 Answers - Comments

A. Assuming your talking about this site, it actually very simple, although I answered a question thae same as this not long ago. If ten people sign on to this site and each ask one question, there are ten questions on the site. Then each person goes and answers each of the nine questions on the site they didn't ask. Each answer is resolved, and the process begins again. Now, each person has asked two questions, but answered eighteen. And so on, and so forth. If your not talking about this site and instead are talking about life and the human race, you can try to apply this same idea on a much larger scale. Or you can put it down to the unlimited curiosity of mankind!

Asked by lilschneggie - Fri Oct 13 16:28:20 2006 - Higher Education (University +) - 3 Answers - Comments

A. you should have 10 questions or so prepared, because some of them will be answered in the interview, and you don't want to be left without any. you don't need to ask that many. The school has a lot of people that are qualified on paper applying to them, what they are looking for is a personality that will fit their college campus. let them know what you are interested in...what kind of clubs or organizations do you like...and find out what they have. Know what area of study you want to go into...if you don't know, pick one for the interview and ask about it and that major. (most colleges won't let you declare your major for at least a year, so it doesn't matter what you pick, just choose something you can talk on with some authority) Try… [cont.]

Why are my questions about whites being removed?
Q. I am concerned about race mixing and the effects of it on the white race. If I ask a question concerning this matter, or why other races feel as they do about whites, why is my question removed? I have had 4 questions removed. If other races ask similar questions, theirs are not removed. So, are my questions removed because I am a white person asking them? Does this mean that whites are not entitled to Free Speech, like anyone else in the US?
